As a mobile acrylic / press-on application professional with The NYC Mobile Salon, your primary responsibility is delivering exceptional, salon-quality acrylic / press-on application services in client homes, offices, and event venues across New York City. Here is what a typical workload looks like:

✓Offer a full range of shapes including coffin, stiletto, almond, square, ballerina, and round
✓Work with acrylic powder, liquid monomer, forms, and tips to build custom sets from scratch
✓Perform safe removal of previous acrylic sets without damage to the natural nail
✓Consult with clients on length, shape, and finish options to deliver their ideal set
✓Maintain proper ventilation awareness and product safety protocols during acrylic application

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Valid New York State License
You must hold a current, valid NYS cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, or nail specialty license appropriate for acrylic / press-on application services. We verify every license before onboarding and conduct periodic checks to ensure ongoing compliance.

You are expected to arrive at every acrylic / press-on application appointment with your own professional-grade tools, products, and supplies. This includes everything specific to acrylic / press-on application services — shears, brushes, lamps, products, and any other equipment required.
